First of all: food is good and plentiful. The people who served us and were paid by us (owners?) were super unfriendly. Wouldn’t go back there.

We would have eaten something here too, but the hospitality that struck me when I entered the dining room made us leave after two drinks against our thirst. Once and never again. Unfortunately, following the other reviews, probably not a "bad day" but standard.

The staff is a bit inflexible and not particularly friendly. The price is very cheap and the taste was ok. Unfortunately, I can not fully agree with the great reviews, you notice (like unfortunately in many places in this region) that no great attention is paid to the quality of the products (especially with regard to origin, etc.).

We were there on Sunday evening and had not pre-ordered. We let ourselves be blinded by the reviews and my wife asked for 3 places. Answer: Have you ordered. We No ... He! then nothing is free. And in one tone. Don't worry, we'll never come to your room again. The guest is king and the sound makes the music.

Very good food, very nice atmosphere and fair prices. Staff friendly and attentive. The forest room is not closed, by the way, because there is a lot of talk about a closure :-) Therefore, a visit in summer is recommended as a hiking destination.

From the outside rather inconspicuous, the Forsterstube presents itself lovingly and rustically furnished. On the menu there are next to bread time classics such as sausage salad, for example. Schnitzel / cordon bleu, rösti pans with loin and steaks. At certain times there are also game roasts, partly from own hunting. Here you should ask in advance. The dishes have been freshly prepared and were impeccably crafted. Everything was really good in taste. The service is very friendly and accommodating. The picture shows a roast beef served with chips and a side salad.
